my most recent boyfriend just got engaged today, of course to someone else. his other girlfriend…which is odd, because on my birthday, which as about 4 days ago, he said to me: “In case you didn’t know, you’re one of the best people I know and I find myself thinking about you all the time. I feel very fortunate to have gotten to know you these past few months…”
if i didn’t feel alone, being in toronto, and away from home for a year, away from everything i’ve ever known…well this did the trick. thank you universe, for that sign i asked you to give me. i guess i can only get stronger from all of this…granted this wound is still fresh, so please no more curveballs for awhile.
